BANANAS FOR BOOKS

About Literature Circles

Our students have been participating in weekly literature circle discussions. This is a great way for students to collaborate with one another in a student-centered activity to help them become stronger readers. Students are responsible for their own learning by choosing their books, leading discussions, and independently completing assignments in preparation for their meetings.  Each group also holds one another accountable for how much reading to do each week.
